Who we are
This website, callstones.com, is operated by Callstones LLP (“Callstones”, “we”, “us”). Our team is based in Pakistan and provides outsourced dispatch and operational support to transportation businesses in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
For any question about this policy or your information, contact us at info@callstones.com or by phone or WhatsApp on +92 337 5557026. Our address is Bahria Town Phase 3, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Information we collect through our enquiry form
When you send an enquiry through a form on this website, we collect:
- your full name;
- your email address;
- your phone or WhatsApp number, and the country you choose for its dialling code;
- the type of business you select;
- the support you tell us you need; and
- your message, if you choose to add one.
Along with your enquiry we record when it was sent and which page of the website it came from.
To limit how many enquiries can be sent from one connection, we also keep a one-way fingerprint of your internet (IP) address. The fingerprint is created with a secret key and cannot be turned back into your IP address; we do not store the address itself. It is used only to count recent enquiries and to help us spot misuse of the form.
The form also contains a hidden field that people do not see. Automated programs that fill it in are treated as spam, and their submissions are not stored.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry;
- understand and assess the services you are asking about, and discuss whether and how we can help; and
- protect the website and the enquiry form against spam and misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use the details you send through the form for advertising.
If you are in the United Kingdom, we rely on two lawful bases under UK data protection law: taking steps at your request before any agreement with you, when you ask about our services; and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and keeping the form secure.
How your enquiry is stored and shared
When you submit the form, your enquiry is checked on our server and saved in a database used for Callstones’s website. You see a confirmation only once it has been saved. If it cannot be saved, the form asks you to contact us by phone or WhatsApp instead.
After your enquiry is saved, an email notification containing its details is sent to the Callstones team so we can reply. If that email cannot be sent, your enquiry is still kept in the database.
Like most websites, we rely on service providers to run these systems: a provider that hosts the website and its database, and an email service that delivers our notification and reply emails. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We share your information with others only where the law requires it.
Because our team works from Pakistan, your information will be accessed from Pakistan, and it may be stored on servers in a different country from the one you live in.
If you contact us directly
If you call us, email us or message us on WhatsApp instead of using the form, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your number or email address and your message, and use them in the same way: to reply to you and discuss your enquiry. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
At present, this website does not use cookies or tracking tools for analytics or advertising, and it does not load advertising or social media scripts. If that changes, we will update this policy before those tools are used.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you, to continue any discussion or working relationship that follows, and to keep appropriate business records. When an enquiry is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner at any time (see below).
How we protect your information
Enquiries are sent to our website over an encrypted connection. Our database is accessed through credentials kept on our server, not in the website’s public code, and access is limited to people at Callstones who need it. We store a fingerprint of your IP address rather than the address itself.
No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the information you send us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. To make a request, email info@callstones.com from the address you used in your enquiry, or tell us which enquiry it relates to. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
If you are in the United Kingdom and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). In Canada, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Children
Our services are for businesses. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we handle information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
